City/State Newport News, VA Work Shift Second (Evenings) Overview: Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA, is currently hiring a Radiology Technologist II to work a Full Time, Evening Shift. 15K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours Full Time, Evening Shift, 40 hours per week Overview Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Education Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology(Required) Certification/Licensure ARRT (Required) BLS Experience 7 - 12 months of sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems Keyword: Rad Tech, Imaging, Radiology, X-ray, Talroo - Allied Health, Monster .
