Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical system trainer in Greenwood Village.

This position will require extensive travel to all locations throughout the network to include the entire Denver metro area, Longmont, Boulder, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs.

Salary Range: $65,000.00-$80,000.00

Responsibilities

SCOPE:

The Administrative Trainer is a key member of RMCC's training team, responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for administrative staff across multiple locations. This role ensures staff are proficient in workflows, systems, and organizational standards to support efficient operations and exceptional patient care. The trainer will conduct both group and individual training sessions, collaborating closely with other trainers and leadership to identify needs, standardize processes, and implement best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with the training team to design, implement, and facilitate onboarding and ongoing education for administrative staff.
  • Deliver group training sessions and provide individualized coaching as needed to reinforce learning and address specific needs.
  • Travel regularly to RMCC locations to provide in-person training and support.
  • Assess training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding workflows, technology systems, and administrative protocols.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor*s degree in related field required. Previous training and Athena experience or one year related training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum three (3) years of experience working as a trainer required.

Must have excellent communication, planning, presentation and organizational skills.

Healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency with computer systems and MicroSoft (Office Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel) required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
