Job Description

The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, North America (NA) will lead the recruitment strategies acrossVisa's North America business.Additionally, this team is responsible for managing the execution of global roles located in the North America region.This role is responsible for developing and executing the talent acquisition strategy for North America, ensuring the organization attracts and hires top talent to support business growth and build long-term organizational capability in the region. This strategy includes professional recruitment and strong partnership across executive and early careers hiring, as well as being responsible for regional employer brand and marketing initiatives. This role involves collaboration on regional cross functional HR initiatives, global projects and initiatives that impact North America, Global Talent Acquisition (TA), and Global Talent. The individual will ensure the excellence of the overall end-to-end candidate experience, through partnership with our central TA operations teams.

Additionally, the leader will be responsible for serving as the key point of talent acquisition contact for critical business units. In this capacity, the leader will work closely with the business unit stakeholders to understand the strategy and define the global talent acquisition efforts to ensure human capital solutions are in place to allow the business to meet its objectives. The NA TA Leader will collaborate with the Global TA team and provide dotted-line leadership to regional recruiters responsible for talent acquisition delivery. This role ensures consistent execution of hiring strategies, alignment on talent profiles, and excellence in delivery across the region. He/she will also foster team cross collaboration, maintain awareness of top talent globally and drive internal mobility opportunities where appropriate.

The responsibilities include:

  • Professional Recruitment and Strong Partnerships: This involves collaboration across executive and early careers hiring, business leaders, as well as managing regional employer brand and marketing initiatives.

  • Collaboration on Regional and Global Initiatives: The role requires working on regional cross-functional HR initiatives, global projects, and initiatives that impact North America Global Talent Acquisition, and Global Talent.

  • Key Point of Contact for Business: The leader will serve as the main contact for the business, working closely with leaders to understand strategy, define global talent acquisition efforts, and ensure human capital solutions are in place to meet business objectives. Importantly, this person will advise and inform global recruiters of the business strategies to ensure consistency across the globe.

  • Execution of Strategies: Partnering across the global TA team to lead the execution of strategies, ensuring consistency, alignment of profiles, and executing internal mobility.

  • Driving Transformation: Aligning with global and regional stakeholders to drive transformation in capability growth, structure, and channel strategy to deliver a best-in-class TA function.

  • Consultative Approach: Building and executing TA outcomes aligned with the People Team and Business strategy, focusing on skills enablement, Inclusion & Diversity, Internal Mobility, and capability growth and development.

  • Leveraging Advanced Technologies: Leading the team to adopting advanced tools to enable sourcing and search strategy efforts.

The right candidate will be a highly seasoned recruiting/HR professional capable of driving both strategy and execution of the TA function, aligning with the wide multitude of global and regional stakeholders to drive transformation (e.g. capability growth, structure, channel strategy) that will deliver a best in class TA function.

The successful candidate will be highly consultative with a proven track record of building and executing TA outcomes which are aligned to the People Team and Business strategy.   • Partner with Global Talent and Global Talent Acquisition teams in continuous evolvement of Visa's assessment and evaluation process

  • Partner with global compensation and benefits teams, ensuring the offer process ismanaged effectively with appropriate compliance

  • Playa global leadership role in leading and partaking in global Talent initiatives and projects to drive and deliver best in class TA outcomes

  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements across the TA function

  • Administer and resolve employee matters, effectively mitigating risk to the company

  • Oversee talent attraction initiatives, aligned with global strategy, to meet the region's strategic goals.

  • Support early career program hiring and management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

*12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

*15+ years recruiting experience, including experience leading regional recruitment teams for similar multi-national corporate environments.

*Combination of corporate and agency or boutique search firm experience is attractive

*Relevant or related industry experience highly desired, FINTECH, Digital, Technology and/or Financial Services.

*Advanced ability to develop recruiting strategies for the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of talent, including the use of advanced technologies (AI).

*Good understanding of strategic HR, including talent management, talent assessment and organizational development is highly desired.

*Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

*Excellent negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.

*Prior experience advising on workforce planning topics such as salary equity, internal movement, and staffing level planning.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 179,300 to 296,550 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
