Your Job

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Rack/Mods General Foreman to lead and coordinate large-scale racking and module installation activities on utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will oversee crew performance, enforce safety standards, manage daily workflow and logistics, and ensure all racking and module installation work meets quality, schedule, and technical requirements.

The DEPCOM In-House Construction group, directly executes mechanical work on utility-scale solar projects.


What You Will Do

  • Oversee, direct, and manage the installation crew, assigning duties, monitoring progress, and supporting daily productivity.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and respond promptly to safety hazards or incidents.
  • Review construction documents, safety plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine accurate installation locations and proper methods.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure work meets code, project standards, and manufacturer requirements; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, site superintendents, and other contractors to maintain project schedule and resolve daily challenges.
  • Plan installation strategies, determine production targets, oversee site setup, and ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in solar installation and construction management, ideally within utility-scale environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
  • Technical expertise in assembling, bolting, and installing solar panels, racking, and support structures.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume racking or module installation crews.
  • Familiarity with multiple racking systems and manufacturer specifications.
