Your Job

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Rack/Mods Foreman to lead the installation of solar module racking systems on utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will supervise the installation crew, ensure safe and efficient daily operations, and oversee the installation, quality, and commissioning of racking and module systems in alignment with project plans and standards.

The DEPCOM In-House Construction group, directly executes mechanical work on utility-scale solar projects.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the installation of solar modules and racking systems, including bolting, aligning, and connecting components.
  • Interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate installation locations, sizes, and layouts.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct final inspections to verify proper installation and system functionality.
  • Enforce job site safety regulations and protocols, including OSHA requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the crew, project managers, and internal stakeholders; provide updates on progress and challenges.
  • Perform final testing and commissioning of the completed racking and module systems.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in solar panel installation
  • An understanding of solar PV equipment, racking systems, and installation standards.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction and OSHA safety regulations.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading large racking or module installation crews.
  • Familiarity with multiple racking manufacturers and system types.
  • OSHA 30 or additional safety certifications.
