Career Field: Team Leader- Project Management

The Team Leader-project management will work in our PSBU business to build a team and discipline around project management that will engage with across functional teams to define, develop, launch, and promote our high and low power products. Your scope will include project managers and projects that partner with product managers, engineers, and operational personnel from our design centers and manufacturing plants globally. This is a working leadership role, with responsibility for managing a team, as well as managing key projects.

Our Team

You will be working closely with a global team of design engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and many more cross functional team members to ensure projects run smoothly. The projects you manage will encompass products in our high and low power categories. Our High-Power products support power distribution in data centers, and our Low Power products serve a wide variety of markets-one example being home appliances.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and lead a dynamic team of Project Managers that delivers the team's strategic portfolio for the PSBU business
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to support professional development
  • Allocate resources and balance workloads across projects to ensure efficient delivery
  • Lead and mentor team members in project management principles, PDP processes, risk management, issue resolution, decision making, etc.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance project management culture
  • Responsible for the successful completion of several projects
  • Challenge the status quo to improve our team's standard practices and procedures
  • Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including preparing and presenting project reports.
  • Ensure that the project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Facilitate project change management processes, including managing scope changes and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Apply an agile mindset to all phases of project delivery, focusing on adaptability, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, supply management or related field
  • 5+ years' experience as a program/project manager leading new product launches (from design to manufacturing)
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools: MS Project preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering to agreed-upon cost, quality and timing expectations
  • Proven ability to lead multi-national (globally dispersed) teams in a matrixed organization
  • Fluent English communication, strong interpersonal skills, confident in interacting with multiple level of stakeholders including management and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones

For this role, we anticipate paying 100k~150k annually.
