Additionally, Harlem Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, complete with Trauma and elective Orthopedic Surgery.The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation withColumbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeonsto maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

The Adult Virology Clinic is an outpatient clinic within NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem. The clinic Serves close to 1000 patients /year. The clinic follows a none-stop-shop model of service delivery by a multidisciplinary team and receives city, state and federal government funding.

Opportunity Details:

• Hours of operation is Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
• Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Virology, is responsible for the on-going assessment, design, development and implementation of clinic wide clinical, financial and supportive services and systems.
• Provide Virology leadership team with identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities discovered during the gathering of of data and assist team in developing solutions. develop and modify requirements documentation for the design and implementation of clinical and non-clinical information systems; critically evaluate information from various sources; distinguish user needs from actual business needs and partner with AssistantDirector and other project managers, and IT leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits and risks of actual and proposed projects as well as assist in managing stakeholder/ funders expectations.

• 1. A Master's degree or advanced clinical degree from an accredited college or university; oraBaccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
• (1) year of experience gathering and documenting business, clinical, and/or functional requirements for software applications development and implementation in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics or related area; or (1) year of experience in a relevant clinical and/or healthcare administration role/function.
• A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Specialty certification(s) issued by a national commercially available program, state, professional society, academic or technical institution in an area(s) listed above, may be credited on a month-to-month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one (1) year.
