Opportunity Details:

  • Leadership:
    • Collaboratively set the vision and strategy for Quality and Safety for the facility with leadership and frontline staff.
    • Lead employee education, growth, mentorship, development, and recognition programsaround Quality, Patient Safety, and Leadership.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Responsible for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) data collection and submission, chart abstraction, quality reporting activities, and preparation for quarterly QAPI Committee of the Board meetings.
    • Responsible for QAPI & Patient Safety plan and annual evaluation of QAPI plan.
  • Performance Improvement:
    • Lead and set the vision for Performance Improvement capacity building programs, including Healthcare Administration Scholars Program, Quality Academy, Quality/Clinical Leadership Fellowship, and trainings for managers and executive leaders.
    • Serve as executive sponsor for the Facility Based Collaborative Council (FBCC) and Board QAPI Committee performance improvement projects.
    • Align facility dashboard Quality metrics with system Strategic Pillars and system dashboard.
    • Responsible for annual Pro-active Risk Assessments (PRA).
  • Patient Safety:
    • Support Patient Safety Officer, Patient Safety Associate, andwith the facility Patient Safety Committee, to develop annual Patient Safety goals, and ensure high performance in the National Patient Safety Goals (soon to be embedded as part of Joint Commission's National Performance Improvement Goals).
    • Support and work collaboratively with Patient Safety Officer to ensure key stakeholders are trained about Root Cause Analysis & Action (RCA^2) and Just Culture.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assist risk management to sponsor Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and execution of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and monitorfor compliance.
    • Incorporate information learned from Good Catch and adverse event reporting and RCA's into Performance Improvement activities.
  • Accreditation:
    • Assist Regulatory to Sponsor for survey management and continuous readiness efforts for accreditation surveys, while staying current with national standards of practice.
    • Provide staff education and training on accreditation requirements to ensure continuous readiness for ongoing surveys.

***This role will require 0.25 FTE (10 hours per week) of clinical time.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master's level degree, clinical degree preferred (e.g., MD, DO, NP).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical and/or administrative experience.Clinical experience, preferred.
  • ExperienceinQuality Assurance, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Regulatory & Accreditation, Care Experience, Healthcare Administration, Data & Reporting, Policy, Leadership, and Education surrounding Quality.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership,organizational, and planning skills.
  • Desire and proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders including business, clinical, IT, leadership, and staff.

Wages and Benefits include:

AnnualBase Salary: $360,000* - $412,000* based on Master's level degree type, clinical/administrative experience, and a 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $395,000** and $447,000**,which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees areimmediatelyvestedin a 3% company contributionofbase earnings. No employee match isrequired.
    • After one year ofservice, employees receive anadditional7% company contributionofbase earnings. No employee match isrequired.
