Float Pharmacy Technician - Oncology, Various Locations (Santa Barbara Home Base)

Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor and HLT III, you will:

• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics
• Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time
• Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence

Schedule: Monday-Friday 0830-1730 (60 min lunch), varied shifts depending on department needs; this role will require you to float and travel to multiple locations, including floating between the Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Westlake Village care centers.

Hourly Salary Range: $34.41 - 45.38 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)

We're seeking a strong pharmacy technician with:

• Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing
• Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Experience preparing chemotherapy solutions
• Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand
• Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
• Skill in performing repetitive work according to set procedures and sequence.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
