Job Overview:

The Supply Technician supports daily warehouse operations for the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) operations by performing receiving, inspection, storage, inventory, issue, turn-in, and shipment of IT systems, CCI, office furniture, and other equipment. This role includes data entry into GCSS-Army, preparation of required documentation, safe handling of sensitive and accountable property, and compliance with Army regulations and security requirements.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound shipments, unload equipment, and conduct visual inspection for damage, missing documentation, or discrepancies.
  • Verify serial numbers, condition codes, and configuration for IT systems, CCI, and sensitive items.
  • Report discrepancies immediately and support preparation of required reports.
  • Input data into GCSS-Army for receipts, issues, turn-ins, lateral transfers, and storage actions.
  • Prepare and process DA Form 3161, DD Form 1348-1, and other supporting documentation.
  • Maintain spreadsheets tracking shipments, turn-ins, and document numbers.
  • Properly store equipment, supplies, and materials in designated locations.
  • Ensure storage areas are organized, secure, and compliant with physical security standards.
  • Handle equipment in a manner that prevents damage to property or facilities.
  • Pull, prepare, and deliver equipment to supported customers within one business day of request.
  • Support customers during inventory verification and ensure proper signatures for issue documents.
  • Prepare turn-in documentation and coordinate pick-ups as directed.
  • Package and prepare outbound shipments; apply labeling, documentation, and tracking.
  • Ensure shipments meet security requirements for accountable or classified materials.
  • Contact receiving units to confirm delivery of outbound shipments.
  • Participate in annual 100% inventories, quarterly CCI inventories, and special inventories.
  • Assist in researching property gains/losses and preparing inventory discrepancy documentation.
  • Comply with OSHA, Army safety policies, and all PPE requirements.
  • Complete training requirements: TARP, OPSEC, AT Level I, Cyber Awareness, etc.
  • Follow security protocols for handling and safeguarding equipment, CCI, and accountable shipments.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

  • Experience as a supply technician, warehouse worker, or logistics clerk.
  • Familiarity with Army supply systems, preferably GCSS-Army.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Valid state driver's license; ability to obtain forklift license.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict processing timelines.

Security Requirement:

  • U.S. Citizen with active SECRET clearance.
