Job Overview:

The Lead Supply Technician serves as the on-site lead and senior logistics specialist supporting the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) operations. This role oversees daily warehouse and property accountability activities, ensures compliance with Army regulations, and provides technical guidance to supply personnel supporting the receipt, storage, issue, turn-in, and shipment of IT systems, Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), office furniture, and sensitive equipment. The Lead Supply Technician coordinates directly with the Government COR, ensures timely deliverables, and maintains accurate accountability in the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the designated Site Lead for all warehouse personnel and daily operations.
  • Assign, prioritize, and oversee work tasks for Supply Technicians and Stock Clerks.
  • Ensure personnel maintain required qualifications, safety compliance, and security training.
  • Coordinate workload with the COR and escalate discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
  • Oversee and perform data entry into GCSS-Army and other Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) systems for receipt, issue, turn-in, lateral transfers, and storage actions.
  • Validate accuracy of all property records and ensure discrepancies are researched and reported according to timelines.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets tracking document numbers, shipments, and inventory status.
  • Lead receiving, inspection, and in-processing of equipment including IT systems, CCI, furniture, and sensitive items.
  • Ensure all items are inventoried, verified, and moved to appropriate storage locations.
  • Direct and conduct issue and turn-in operations, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Coordinate packing, crating, and shipment of outbound equipment following postal, security, and CCI regulations.
  • Track all outbound shipments and communicate with receiving units regarding delivery confirmation.
  • Coordinate transportation with the Supply Support Activity (SSA) for pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Lead annual 100% inventories, quarterly CCI inventories, and special inventories as required.
  • Conduct causative research for losses/gains and prepare Inventory Discrepancy Reports within required timeframes.
  • Maintain compliance with AR 710-4, AR 380-40, and other governing regulations.
  • Enforce safety requirements, PPE use, and compliance with OSHA and Army safety programs.
  • Ensure personnel maintain required training: TARP, OPSEC, AT Level I, Cyber Awareness, IO if applicable.
  • Safeguard all government property and ensure proper handling of classified/accountable shipments.
  • Prepare required discrepancy reports (ROD, QDR, TDR) and submit within three workdays.
  • Provide daily/weekly status updates to the COR and maintain complete and accurate records.
  • Ensure timely submission of all contract deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Army supply, warehouse, or property book operations.
  • Proficiency in GCSS-Army and related APSR systems.
  • Experience handling CCI, sensitive items, and classified shipments preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts (up to 8,000 lbs), pallet jacks, and vehicles up to 5-ton capacity.
  • Valid state driver's license; must obtain/maintain forklift license via installation TMP.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Security Requirement:

  • U.S. Citizen with active SECRET clearance.
