CNA - FT D/E

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, with day and evening shift rotations. The role includes working every other weekend and holiday.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
• Certifications: NYS Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS (must be through AHA or RQI)

• Assist residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care, following the care plan
• Maintain resident safety and environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, preventing falls, and cleaning the unit
• Support residents during meals by delivering trays, assisting with feeding, using adaptive equipment, and honoring food preferences
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, proper positioning, and using aids
• Take and record vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Measure and record weight, intake, and output
• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Provide social and emotional support through interaction and companionship
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times
• Report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nurse promptly
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner per protocol

Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
