DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
To perform quality inspections of components and finished products in all areas of the Quality Department by using Stealth's techniques and standard processes RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES *Cross train as necessary to assist in other areas of the Quality department to ensure objectives are accomplished *Utilize Lean Continuous Improvement philosophy to decrease waste *Inspect materials/products by using the necessary inspection tools *Inspect documents to ensure they are completed according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) *Complete documents for release of conforming material/product by using Good Documentation Practices (GDP) *Perform 5S and maintain work area to 5S standards *Perform duties outside of work area as assigned to ensure the team can contribute to achieving the department and company objectives *Report to Quality management/engineers about activities accomplished and status of assigned duties *Assist on the floor with bagging station to prevent from creating bottle necks or falling behind when large volume of materials come in or finished product is ready for final inspection *Communicate challenges or any other work-related information to appropriate team member to ensure that a corrective action is done correctly *Work in a professional manner with other departments to ensure that product and information flow efficiently to the appropriate department *Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times *Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management *Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment *Work effectively with all departments to exceed internal and external expectations *Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS *Must be a team player, detail-oriented, respectful, professional and honest Must have the ability to: *Use standard measurement devices, such as but not limited to: templates, measure tapes, and calipers *Multi-task, problem-solve, pay attention to detail and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment *Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, and company policies and procedures *Accomplish duties with minimal supervision *Lift, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift Must have: *Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement *Good verbal and written communication skills *The ability and willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods and changing priorities PREFERRED SKILLS *Ability to read Bill of Materials, Perform Quality Checks, Maintain Documentation/Records, Interpret Engineering Drawings REQUIRED EXPERIENCE *6 months experience in Quality Assurance or manufacturing environment PREFERRED EXPERIENCE *Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products (directly, independently or through a third party) *6 months experience in a Quality Assurance environment within the last 2 years REQUIRED EDUCATION *High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of the required experience PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION *Associate's Degree in Quality related field *American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future DETAILS This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive Stealth Products is an Equal Opportunity employer.
