Job Description

The Technology Planning & Business Operations organization provides key strategic planning and business operations oversight and integration across the Technology organization. This includes driving investment planning and budgeting, project and portfolio management, workforce planning activities, strategic initiative program management, and communications activities. The team is focused on improving efficiencies, transparency, consistency and collaboration within the Technology organization and other key cross-functional stakeholders.

The Systems Analyst Intern will be responsible for supporting several Technology Planning & Business Operations activities. This includes building Technology and Business Dashboards supporting program management of strategic initiatives, Technology procurement pipeline and supplier deal coordination, and driving ad-hoc business management analysis. This position interacts with many cross-functional stakeholders, including various Technology teams, Finance, Sourcing, and other functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Technology and Business Dashboards using PowerBI
  • Support program management and business analysis for various strategic Technology initiatives, owning various components of the initiatives
  • Develop detailed financial models and business updates to drive the proactive management of strategic programs and procurement activities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Technology integration programs related to Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Actively manage the procurement pipeline, including partnership with key Technology stakeholders and Sourcing partners to support the assessment and review of upcoming supplier deals
  • Support the automation of business processes and systems related to Technology supplier utilization and procurement pipeline
  • Provide ad hoc support for other business management activities as needed
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences and Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; prior financial budget and modeling experience preferred
  • Prior experience working with reporting and data visualization systems such as SQL, Access, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Access is a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Educational or prior project management job experience a plus
Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $30 to $35/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
