Audiovisual Project Manager

MUST:

Experienced Audiovisual Project Manager

Certification in: AVIXA, CTS preferred

PMP certification preferred

Must have experience leading teams and projects within the audio visual, construction, technology, or related industry.

Strong organizational skills complemented by excellent verbal, face to face, and written communication for both internal and external interactions with a focus on customer service.

Proficient in Microsoft productivity products, including outlook, excel, word, Bluebeam pdf editor, project management software.

Experience and familiar with remote project management, system services, and installations involving outsourced labor, vendors, and contractors.

Demonstrates creative problem-solving and investigation skills.

Understanding of revenue, budget, margin, and financial variance factors in assigned projects.

Knowledge of national building/ safety codes, and industry best practices.

Ability to read and work from AV and general construction drawings.

Understanding of low voltage electrical installation practices and concepts.

Ability to pass background checks and work in secure government facilities.

Bachelors preferred

DUTIES:

Ability to work, think, determine, then establish priority of urgency quickly and accurately with little oversite to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated expertise in contractual documentation to assess delivery timelines, allocate internal and external resources (both personnel and budget) across different project phases.

Coordinate and lead Project Kickoff meetings involving Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, Customer resources, and Third-Party resources as necessary.

Identify and manage project risks, address project-related issues within the team, and escalate matters to management when needed.

Coordinate with the purchasing team to confirm all equipment is ordered, tracking deliveries to meet project deadlines.

Communicate with the Account Manager or sales team regarding any project changes affecting final cost or schedule.

Submit project invoicing to the accounting department.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation for all project tasks.

Facilitate the ordering of project materials and equipment.

Monitor and control all project expenditures, including equipment, labor, miscellaneous costs, and direct expenses, in alignment with the project budget.

Provide regular status and progress reports internally and externally, highlighting any issues that may impact profitability for management's attention.

Oversee and verify the quality of work performed by both internal and subcontracted resources.

Promptly alert management to potential claims, back charges, or significant costs that could affect ITG financially.

Gather and provide ITG Service teams with relevant close-out documentation for future reference.

Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers through direct interaction, focusing on improving perceptions of on-time delivery, quality, communication, responsiveness, and problem-solving.

Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications regarding problems or concerns.

Direct project outcomes to meet customer requirements and achieve ITG customer satisfaction goals.

Cultivate an efficient and collaborative team environment.

Perform Project Coordinator functions as necessary.

Travel to various job sites as required.
