Description

The Manager of Sports Performance is responsible for the supervision and development of the Sports Performance Supervisors and overall development in conjunction with the Sports Performance Specialists. Improve visibility and quality of sports performance relating to individual, small group and team training while working in an environment of collaboration and innovation.

This is a full-time position, working Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, weekends as needed out of our Eagan Training HAUS location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Manage and develop Sports Performance Coach Supervisors, ensuring they effectively oversee Sports Performance Coaches across college, high school, clinic, and outreach programs.
  • Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and overall development of the Sports Performance Coaches in collaboration with the Sports Performance Supervisors and Sports Performance Specialists
  • Lead and participate in strategy development and implementation of sports performance program growth
  • Maintain consistency of Training HAUS brand for quality delivery and experience throughout college, high school, clinic, outreach and on-line
  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager - Performance and Ancillary Services, Sports Performance Specialists, Director of Training HAUS, Community/Sports Partnerships; and other key stakeholders to develop and implement solutions to sports performance needs
  • Provide oversight and development of individual, small group, and large group fitness programs relating to sports performance
  • Provide education and support to the Sports Performance team to proactively develop patient/athlete relationships to build a book of business, leveraging TCO service knowledge to meet revenue targets
  • Remain active in community projects and outreach in TCO current contracted relationships as well as new relationships
  • Work in coordination with Training HAUS Supervisor - Outreach and Ancillary Services in managing payments, attendance, and accountability reports for programs
  • Work within set budgets for equipment/supply purchasing
  • Foster community relationships relating to sports performance in the community with partners who share in TCOs core values
  • Work with Marketing and other key stakeholders to negotiate meaningful sponsorships relating to sports performance
  • Arrange and organize Performance Coaches to meet demands of community engagement
  • Practice within the scope of MN/WI State rules/regulations
  • Maintain safe work environment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Physical Education/Exercise Science/Kinesiology or related fields required, Master's Preferred.
  • Previous 2-4 years of leadership/supervisory experience
  • Certifications relevant to degree (CSCS, etc.)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Performance Training experience with increased responsibility and proven track record of maintaining a successful book of business/partnerships

Working Conditions:



  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
