Sunoco LP is a growth company which operates within the following three business segments:

* Fuel Distribution: Largest independent fuel distributor in the U.S., distributing over 8 billion gallons of fuel a year across more than 40 states. We distribute fuel to more than 7,400 Sunoco and partner branded locations and additional independent dealers and commercial customers

* Pipelines Systems: Network of over 14,000 miles of pipelines, distributing crude oil, refined products, renewable fuels, ammonia, and specialty liquids

* Terminals: Over 100 fuel terminals in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

* Research and gather information from the team to urgently identify and resolve issues and provide guidance to supervisors and leads

* Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with internal counterparts to enhance process improvements aligned with company goals

* Proactively engages in the learning and development of the team on key systems and processes to support future growth and efficiency

* Promotes a culture of learning and development, encouraging team members to master various systems

* Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency

* Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems

* Ensures the integrity of financial data by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and leveraging technical accounting skills to analyze trends in P&L and balance sheet accounts while identifying opportunities for process improvements through innovative solutions

* Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics and contributes to the success of the overall team

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Strong leadership in a fast paced, dynamic environment

* Significant level of personal accountability and ownership to proactively identify and address issues as they arise with limited oversight

* Can develop and maintain highly productive relationships with internal and external counterparties through proactive, effective communication

* Ability to create or improve accounting process

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

* 8+ years' experience

* Knowledge of Excel, RightAngle, Salesforce, Power BI, and SAP preferred

Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Usually, normal office working conditions

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing

* Occasional overnight travel may be required
