PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Support the Portfolio Governance & Operations team by coordinating project activities, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in process improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Meeting & Resource Coordination:Schedule project meetings, manage calendars, and assist with resource planning.
  • Project Records Management:Update project data in the PPM tool and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment:Facilitate conversations between functional, business, and technical analysts to clarify requirements, resolve gaps, and drive consensus on project objectives.
  • Process Reflection & Improvement:Document lessons learned, identify inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements to workflows.
  • Governance Support:Help monitor adherence to governance frameworks and escalate gaps or risks.
  • Strategic Alignment:Assist in mapping projects to organizational priorities and flag opportunities for better alignment.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be pursuing an IT or business-related degree at auniversity, in good academic standing at time the internship begins.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and synthesize input into actionable steps.
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in project management and governance.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and learning new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Frequently required to lift 51-70 pounds as needed

  • Potentially exposed and required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.), as well as working at various heights or elevated platforms

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.

  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
