Responsibilities:

  • Assist in responding to inquiries from oversight agencies including OMB, DHS, Congress, etc
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from internal TSA stakeholders and those external to TSA, including airlines, airports, and security technology industry representatives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to assist in the preparation of briefings, as needed
  • Assist with collecting inputs and assisting in the preparation of reports, as required
  • Assist with the preparation of the Weekly AA Report Executive Summary page
  • Assist with performing quality reviews on Weekly AA Reports focusing on consistency, accuracy, and alignment to leadership needs
  • Assist with developing ad hoc presentations
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking usage of the TSIF briefing, training, and conference rooms
  • Assist with controlling, tracking, and maintaining accountability of audio-visual equipment
  • Assist official TSIF and HQ visitors by providing them with proper security procedures, directions, and upon arrival guiding them to the appropriate locations
  • Assist with the preparation of agendas, meeting minutes or notes, and memorandums
  • Coordinate on action items, due dates, correspondence, and other matters
  • Coordinate communications materials, compiling and consolidating various responses
  • Assist with tracking, monitoring, and maintaining calendars and meetings
  • Assist with research and planning for travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Assist with the management of employee and visitor parking passes


Qualifications
Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of executive support experience, ideally within a federal, regulatory, or highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to report onsite in Arlington, VA 2 days per week required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft, edit, and quality-review reports, briefings, and correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to develop executive-level presentations and manage complex calendars.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including tracking action items, coordinating stakeholders, and managing meetings, travel, and documentation.
  • Ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including federal oversight agencies
  • High level of discretion, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $90,000.Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
