The Laser Applications Intern is responsible for working as a team member in the lab to support the development of laser welding and/or Laser cleaning processes. The successful candidate must have the ability to learn new skills quickly and follow established company practices. Duties: Support applications team in Davenport, IA with development of new laser welding and Laser cleaning Manufacturing processes for customers Operate robotic machines; execute test plans and or DOE's Cut, polish, and analyze Weld cross sections and analyze test Complete summer internship project on topic of interest to IPG Prepare reports and presentations summarizing work.
