Description

The Business Services Administrative Assistant is needed in the office and will contribute toward team goals and include specialized individual responsibilities. The duties include but are not limited to meeting coordination, administrative tasks that support multiple departments, database updates. The duties may change and shift as needed to support the practice.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will;



  • Answer and direct all external calls in a professional manner
  • Greet and assist guests
  • Hospitality services for conference room meeting setup (ordering food, room prep, etc.)
  • Ensure all visitors and guests sign in and have been assigned security badges
  • Ensure badges and badge logs are maintained properly
  • Submit and manage maintenance requests with property management
  • Assist with tasks for new hire and terminated employees
  • Coordinate employee photos
  • Maintain CRM contact database
  • Provide office support services to Business Services group
  • Organize expense receipts for Business Services as required
  • Provide HR administrative support
  • Periodic assistance with offsite archiving
  • Order flowers when directed for events
  • Order business cards
  • Maintains refreshment stock in main kitchen on the 8th floor
  • Other duties when assigned


What We Are Looking For

Required Professional Qualifications



  • One to two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or office support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Strong initiative with customer service focus


Preferred Professional Qualifications



  • Experience in a consulting environment is a plus


Personal Qualifications



  • Works well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work product
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proactively handles tasks or looks for solutions

  • Able to productively respond to change
  • Excellent organization and time management skills



Location

This position is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time. The expected application deadline for this job is December 31, 2025.

Compensation

A combination of factors will be considered to determine the compensation for this role, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.

This is a full-time, non-exempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work.
