This position works out of our Minnetonka, MN location in the Electrophysiology medical device division. In Client's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. Individuals in this role will work on a new product launch, supporting the operations team as a 2nd shift process technician. Responsibilities include working with assemblers, troubleshooting equipment, and investigating process issues. Additionally, this position will support projects aimed at designing and developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality. This individual will have a unique opportunity to make a mark on the organization while working on state-of-the-art products. What You'll Work On
2nd shift front line technician supporting Operations team (3:15pm - 1:45am Mon-Thu)
Support products including new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions while supporting new product introductions
Learn manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices; support Operations team in coaching assemblers
Instruct production personnel in the manufacturing and testing of product devices
Recommend and implement process, tooling, and equipment changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Interpret test data, analyze product performance, develop summaries, and assist in initiating yield improvements
Assist maintenance team to ensure continuous operation for production equipment
Perform scrap dissection and support investigation into potential root causes
Summarize information to communicate across shifts and with other functional areas
Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
Work with engineers in conducting experiments
Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations, including QSR and ISO Standards
Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process
Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues
Perform equipment setup and corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance as necessary
Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time, following established validation procedures
Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment; may develop or revise documents and procedures
Certify manufacturing associates in the production processes
Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures

Required Qualifications
H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work with assemblers and other non-technical personnel
Ability to teach and coach others
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
Results-oriented
Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner to meet assigned deadlines
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under limited supervision
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device experience preferred, but not required
Two-year degree or some college credits preferred
