Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5


Salary range: $105,728 - $132,161



What work will you perform?


The IT Manager - B2B will lead and manage multiple technical teams within Landstar's B2B/EDI department, overseeing development and support of B2B platform. This role involves providing leadership, training, coaching, and oversight of technical developers, ensuring goals and commitments are met or exceeded while maintaining high productivity and efficiency.



Essential Responsibilities:



  • Manage a team of 15 to 20 individuals to include training, scheduling work, performance appraisals, hiring, and firing
  • Organize workflow in area and ensure individual contributors understand duties and delegated tasks
  • Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed to meet required standards
  • Delegates work as needed to ensure all projects are completed accurately and timely
  • Provide guidance and coaching to individual contributors on day-to-day issues
  • Performs or assists subordinates in performing duties - may perform some daily tasks depending on volume
  • Set work schedules, approve weekly timecards, and time off requests for direct reports
  • Responsible for performance management, including annual reviews, goal setting and on-going feedback
  • Maintains strict confidentiality
  • Effectively communicate and work with internal and external customers
  • Ensure area goals are met and adhere to budget
  • Provide resolution for escalated customer issues
  • Regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion in daily activities and work directly related to department policies
  • Own technical product roadmap for B2B and provide guidance in coordination with business partners
  • Responsible for production support for B2B/EDI



Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years IT Leadership experience
  • 7 years of experience in Software development including EDI



Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with IBM Starlink
  • Experience in IT within Supply Chain or Logistics Industries



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Experience with B2B/EDI systems with strong understanding of different protocols and standards
  • In-depth knowledge of different communication protocols to troubleshoot EDI issues with trading partners
  • Strong technical skills to analyze complex data, validate data integrity and compatibility across various systems
  • Experience managing other information technology functions, resources and processes a plus
  • Experience with B2Bi Sterling a plus
  • Experience with Linux a plus
