Equipment Finance Originations Specialist III

This position provides support to the Equipment Finance credit application process. Processes and prepares closing documents for Equipment Loans in accordance with the Bank lending policies, procedures, regulatory compliance and secondary market requirements. Verifies accurate and complete documentation for applications received. May guides less experienced specialists on the team through knowledge in the area of work, and is reserved for more senior level specialist.

Business Support - Develops and maintains a current in-depth knowledge of all equipment financing policies, guidelines, and programs and responds to related inquiries. Responds to all telephone inquiries pertaining to loan related issues. Identifies appropriate course of action for more complex issues or disputes. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and participates in the implementation of those ideas.

Processing - Processes and prepares documents for loan applications for submission to underwriting. Compiles required disclosures in compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Compliance - Understands and complies with all applicable federal, state, local and bank rules and regulations. Participates in necessary compliance training.

Documentation - Generates and reviews all closing documents to ensure information on the instruments is accurate, complete and consistent with the loan approval. Collects and processes closing documents for loan files. Verifies all information is complete/accurate based on loan approval.

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Originations Support

High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Originations Support

Additional Requirements:

Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Business professional call experience and etiquette

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Motivated and driven to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

Loan processing experience

Large financial institution experience
