  • Salary range 005: $86,200 - $107,700 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What's involved in this role:

We are looking for a Human Capital Business Partner - Corporate and Commercial in Eden Prairie, MN.

The Human Capital Business Partner- Corporate and Commercial is a key leader within the Human Capital team, responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This strategic role involves building strong relationships across the organization and advising on employee relations issues to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. As a trusted advisor to both employee and management, the Human Capital Business Partner Corporate and Commercial plays a crucial role in promoting fair and consistent practices that align with Agropur culture and values.

  • Establishes a business relationship with its clients, understands their reality and their issues, and plays a key role in achieving their business objectives.

  • Collaborate with managers to support teams' strategic plan

  • Promote and influence strategic organizational objectives with senior management to improve and align HR programs and operations within the company;

  • Coach all managers to improve leadership capabilities, relationships between teams and people, interpersonal communications and performance management;

  • Provide or offer innovative and integrated HR practices regarding critical business issues;

  • Lead future-focused discussions about talent and organizational culture

  • Act as a problem-solving partner for the company;

  • Develop the organization's capacity for change and business execution;

  • Contribute to recommendations during business discussions using data, analytics, benchmarks and industry knowledge;

  • Develop engagement and communication strategies to further improve partnership, transparency and alignment with different partners across the organization;

  • Provide advice on performance management of the business units under his responsibility to identify and manage employees whose performance is above expectations or insufficient. As necessary, develop a problem resolution strategy for employee complaints and serious employee relations issues.

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and programs. Recommend changes based on internal trends and competitive benchmarking. Act as the company's expert on employee relations and compliance.

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team on recruitment strategies for the business units under their responsibility.

  • Provides coaching to management teams in the application of human resources policies and programs.

  • Supports managers in contexts of change or reorganization having impacts on human resources.

  • Develops a good understanding of existing talents in order to assess strengths, issues and development opportunities.

  • Advise, support, equip and coach managers in the application of human resources policies and procedures and all aspects of personnel management

  • Coach and develop managers, among other things in terms of work organization and team development;

  • Exercise a leading advisory role and demonstrate strong decision-making capacity in the various Human Resources areas, in line with the company's business objectives.

  • Contribute proactively to various HR processes (performance evaluation, salary review, Talent development etc.)

  • Support Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives as needed regarding employee benefit plans including insurances, FMLA, Personal Leaves of Absence, Paid Time Off, retirement plan, etc.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources which includes work in employee relations, recruitment, selection, wage and hour compliance, and major employment laws (e.g., Title VII, FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.) required.
  • Experience in a corporate setting preferred.
