Site Safety and Health Officer Location: Silverdale, Washington (Bangor) Type: Exempt Work Schedule: Full-time Compensation: $115,450.00-$121,809.02/annually (Tessera's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.) Tessera is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to lead, execute, and support all aspects of the company's Safety Program and contractual safety requirements. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a safety program that complies with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, DOD, Army, Federal, state, and local safety and health regulations. The SSHO collaborates directly with the Site Manager, leadership team, Quality Manager, and Quality Control and Safety Technicians to ensure safety is fully integrated into the site's Quality Control/Reliability/Safety (QCRS) framework. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, proactive engagement, and a commitment to cultivating a positive, employee-focused safety culture. Productivity, workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and the team's success are dependent on the leadership team position's efforts.
