Location: Silverdale, Washington (Bangor)

Type: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $38.00 - $38.00/hour

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and track maintenance activities. This role ensures that work orders are scheduled and completed according to priorities, timelines, and operational requirements. The Maintenance Scheduler plays a critical role in supporting efficient facility operations by maintaining accurate records, monitoring progress, and providing essential reporting to management.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule building maintenance in all facilities according to routine maintenance requirements and emergency maintenance requests.

  • Distribute workload evenly among work teams, using MAXIMO.

  • Coordinates closely with customers to obtain work authorization, schedule work, assign priorities, and coordinate access if required.

  • Coordinate with the Supervisor and assign priority level of required/requested maintenance and schedule accordingly.

  • Provides ongoing status reports to management on workload, work completion times, and work order status.

  • Prepares man-hour and material bids/estimates for work outside contractual requirements.

  • Coordinates job details with shop supervisor or lead if necessary, before scheduling the work.

  • Assists with outage coordination when the work is required.

  • Communicate emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, schedules, priorities, and completion timelines.

  • Prepares reports per contract requirements, facilitates requests, and ensures proper notification to customers.

  • Assists with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED is required.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Planning/Work Control.

  • Proficient in MAXIMO, filing, report generating and all administrative tasks to assist in Contract administration.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
