Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000

Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, the Faculty Affairs Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a wide range of academic personnel processes within the School. The position contributes to the administration of faculty hiring, promotion and tenure, administrative appointments, awards and fellowships, visa applications and extensions, and accreditation reporting.

The incumbent ensures the accurate collection, maintenance, and reporting of faculty-related data and documentation across multiple systems. This role involves generating correspondence, maintaining records, and preparing official documentation in compliance with university policies and procedures.

In addition to managing day-to-day faculty personnel processes, the Faculty Affairs Coordinator will collaborate with both the Faculty Affairs and Analytics and Accreditation teams to compile reports, maintain dashboards, and assist with research and policy interpretation. This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain a broad understanding of faculty lifecycle management, data governance, and academic administration in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Job Details

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* At least two years of experience handling high-volume, complex administrative processes such as hiring and onboarding, talent acquisition, faculty personnel administration, data entry, or report generation
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience
* Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software
* Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as Banner
* Experience in faculty personnel administration in a university setting

Required Skills and Abilities
* Proficiency in standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
* Experience navigating complex administrative processes with multiple steps or approvals
* Strong ability to organize, track, and maintain large volumes of information and documentation
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment
* Proven ability to provide cross-functional support across departments

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
