What to Expect

As part of the Workplace team, the Valet Lead will provide oversight of valet services for Tesla's Fremont sites, including but not limited to Fremont Factory, 901 Page, and Grimmer. The Valet Lead will join the dynamic Workplace team and champion environmental sustainability initiatives by supporting and growing our Electronic Vehicle Charging Program through tracking and analyzing data for program improvements, educating stakeholders on current demand, and supporting day to day operations and valet staff oversight.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee valet ground operations, including task delegation, vehicle flow management, logging and reporting of vehicle data, key management and distribution, while ensuring exceptional customer service and employee experience
  • Support the supervisor with inventory control and distribution to valet sites, incident reporting (including damage claims and charger reports), and escalations
  • Recommend operational and customer experience improvements to the valet supervisor, and support planning and implementation
  • Serve as the primary on-site lead in the supervisor's absence, acting as the main point of contact for valet-related inquiries
  • Manage break and lunch schedules and safeguard valet equipment, including radios, laptops, and keys
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle intake, charging rotations, and valet reports for the assigned site and shift
  • Train employees on operating various vehicle types and enforcing vehicle operations and safety guidelines

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in valet operations, vehicle management, or related services
  • Ability to drive automatic and stick shift
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced computer skills, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong strategic thinker with leadership skills
  • Evidence of exceptional ability

    Expected Compensation
    $20.20 - $52.80/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
