Position Title: Paint / Kitting Wage: $17.00 - $19.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available in Paint / Kitting at a company in Keosauqua, IA. This is a potential to hire position. Apply now! Paint / Kitting Responsibilities: - Inspect metal for imperfections - Assemble kits for refrigeration units - Assemble refrigeration units based on quality standards and work order instructions - Perform any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools - Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fasteners - Utilize electrical testing equipment - Work at a different work stations as production needs required - Identify parts used on their assigned product line - Maintain clean work area - Read blueprints, schematic drawings to determine location, size, capacity and type of components needed - Cut, bend, braze specified tubing to inlets and outlets of components to form liquid and suction lines of refrigeration systems - Remove air from system and charges system with specified amount and type of refrigerant - Conduct pre-startup check on all equipment Requirements for Paint / Kitting: - Previous experience in electrical, carpentry or refrigeration types of work a plus - Basic skills of hand held power tools and measurement devices - Able to lift 30lbs throughout shift - Able to work in a hot environment - Able to complete fast paced hand eye movements - Able to read blueprints or work orders - Able to write and verbally communicate with other employees and supervisor fairfield@qpsemployment.com IND069 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
