Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America) The supervisor will play a critical role in supporting logistics operations and customer service coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
Customer Service Interaction:
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure all orders are accurately entered and processed.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, order discrepancies and any other inquiries.
- Process credits
Transportation Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate daily transportation needs.
- Ensure trailers and drivers comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Coordinate working schedule with CDL drivers and conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Purchase raw materials and other items required for plant operations.
- Maintain vendor relationship and assist with ordering materials as needed.
Financial & Inventory Management:
- Responsible for maintaining internal checkbook and purchases reconciliation with accounting at the end of the month
- Responsible for managing, entering and reconcile HFI inventory (hold for inspection)
- Enter physical inventory data into the system promptly and investigate discrepancies in collaboration with the Production/Operations Manager.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Suggest and implement process improvements within warehouse and logistics operations.
- Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
* High school diploma or equivalent * At least 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics role within the manufacturing sector * Relevant customer service experience - B2B * Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles Targeted Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $73,500.00
