TITLE: Repro Line Operator C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Inspect/separate scrap plastic created throughout the plant so that it can be reproduced to be reused in the products that call for it.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Available for overtime.
- Forklift Training.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
C Level Job Classification
- Safety complies with all written and verbal safety rules that apply for the plant and department. Must be willing and able to wear all personal
- protective equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Ability to learn all future tasks of the job, and show continuous improvement throughout training process.
- Able to name and use standard hand tools.
- Basic math such as adding, subtraction, etc.
- Must be able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.
- Must be able to locate all E-stops on the Repro line, and must know how to activate the E-stops.
- Safely operate a forklift around machines and people.
- Must be able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.
- Must demonstrate active participation in Company's Stretching Program.
B Level Job Classification
Must have all C-job level qualifications plus the following:
- Able to start up and shut down all of the equipment required.
- Must be able to start and complete an entire changeover.
- Willing and able to help fellow co-workers.
A Level Job Classification
Must have all C and B level qualifications plus the following:
- Ability to train A and B class operator job classifications.
- Able to lead and conduct line P.M.'s.
- Must do well working in groups.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Inside conditions protected from seasonal weather.
- Outside environmental conditions.
- Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees.
- Subject to noise causing reason to shout in order to be heard above noise level.
- Subject to hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or combustible materials.
- Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, fumes, gases, poor ventilation and dusts.
TRAINING:
- Learn basic Repro/forklift operation, while continually improving throughout the training period

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and the like using feet and legs and hands and arms.
- Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.
- Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
- Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
- Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Walking, moving on foot to accomplish multiple tasks.
- Lifting, raising objects from a lower to higher position, or moving objects horizontally from one position to the next position. Degree of lifting 1-75 lbs.
- Grasping, applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.
- Feeling, perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly fingertips.
- Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words.
- Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds with no less than a 40 db loss @500 Hz, 1,000 Hz, and 2,000 Hz with or without correction. Ability to receive verbal communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
- Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching.
- Crawling, moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
- Pulling, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul, or pull objects in a sustained motion.
- Pushing, using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward
VISUAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Machine operation, inspection, close assembly, clerical, and reading tape measure.
- Mobile equipment operations, moving machine parts.
- Position requires individual to differentiate colors, depth and perception.
- Safe operation while driving forklift.
