What does the Senior Network Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola? The Senior Network Manager will lead Swire Coca-Cola's enterprise networking strategy, operations, and engineering team. The top candidate have expertise in managing large-scale, multi-site enterprise networks including network architecture, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and enterprise networking strategy. Leading a team of up to 6 network engineers, you will collaborate with third-party NOC providers in a role that blends strategic leadership, financial acumen, and hands-on technical expertise. Using your strategic analytical processes this senior manager is responsible for developing and executing network initiatives that align with business objectives while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across our enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the enterprise network roadmap to support business goals.
- Partner with IT leadership to define network standards, policies, and long-term strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of senior network engineers.
- Oversee performance management, goal setting, and career development for direct reports.
- Manage a 3rd party NOC to ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs.
- Own and manage the network budget, including forecasting, ROI, TCO, and BNA justifications for capital and operational expenditures.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and manage strategic relationships with network service providers, hardware/software vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure 24/7 availability and resilience of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, VoIP, and cloud networking).
- Oversee incident management, change control, and escalation processes for critical network events.
- Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring service levels meet or exceed business expectations.
- Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex network challenges.
- Maintain expertise in Cisco, Meraki, Nexus, and emerging network technologies (e.g., SDN, SASE).
- Lead architecture reviews, capacity planning, and network security initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of IT networking experience required
- 4+ years in a leadership or management role required
- Experience with financial management, including ROI, TCO, and BNA analysis for IT infrastructure investments required
- Direct experience managing and negotiating with 3rd party service providers and NOCs required
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOX, etc.) required
