About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides department support for depository and treasury related products. This role is responsible for onboarding new business banking accounts and business banking related products. Provides subject matter expertise with depository, payment solutions, commercial loans, and treasury management products. Assists in Commercial loan processes and collateral follow-up, as needed. Seeks opportunities to expand existing and new customer relationships.

The pay range for this position is $26.67 - $40.01/hour

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITES AND DUTIES:
  • Responsible for onboarding of business banking clients by ensuring clients receive exceptional service during the sales and product onboarding functions.
  • Assists the business banking teams with ongoing customer needs, to include opening of depository accounts, initial setup and implementation of business banking and treasury management products and customer maintenance.
  • Follows bank policy and procedure with customer and account on-boarding; proactively follows up on pending items, communicating with branch and deposit operations personnel as appropriate.
  • Assures quality customer service and portrays a positive and professional image for the Bank by friendly and efficient handling of all customer requests and by developing and maintaining professional relationships with outside associates.
  • Assists in gathering of initial documentation to open Customer Information Files (CIF) and opens the CIF in Jack Henry. Works closely with the Operations department and branch Personal Bankers for the opening of deposit accounts associated with lending customers. Ensures all account opening processes/procedures follow institution and regulatory guidelines.
  • Occasionally request boarding of loan documents.
  • Occasionally assist Loan Processors in perfecting collateral.
  • Assists with Branch Operations and Loan Center Operations, such as coordinating schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage during business hours, answering phones, greeting customers, and duel control activities.
  • Cross Sells products and services offered by the Bank including deposit accounts, payment cards and other treasury management services as appropriate.
  • Work closely with business banking teams to provide product expertise and sales support.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, potential clients, internal departments, and other bank personnel.
  • Anticipate customer needs, respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, and ensure an excellent experience for the customer.
  • Maintain service level expectations as defined by the bank.
  • Performs related duties as assigned. Actively participates in Bank related and community volunteer events as well as business development related activities.
  • Comply with Bank policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

About You

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:
  • 3 years of experience in banking or related business development experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with Jack Henry, preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
