Job Summary:

The Content Specialist will have a key executional role on the Brand Activation team to drive demand and interest for TSI brands. This position will be responsible for supporting briefing, directing creative resources, and will project-manage marketing communications and advertising content. The Content Specialist will also assist in defining objectives and success metrics, managing agencies, establishing timelines, presenting in-progress and finished work to key stake holders and ensuring flawless execution in accordance with brand and claims guidelines. The Brand Content Specialist will excel at working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously. This is a collaborative role that adds value by ensuring Tempur Sealy brands win through integrated marketing and advertising.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:



  • Works cross-functionally to develop content that supports brand plans and strategies, aligns to brand activation team objectives and aligns to media plans.
  • Manages advertising content development and execution primarily from agency briefing through final approval and on-time delivery to media team.
  • Provides clear, timely and actionable feedback to external agencies developing content.
  • Together with external agency, manages creative development and production timelines, ensuring internal adherence to timelines and mitigates risk appropriately.
  • Works with cross functional stakeholders, such as Brand Management, Retail and Customer Marketing, PR, etc., ensuring briefing and content output aligns to their goals and objectives, and troubleshoots or adapts as needed.
  • Leads multiple projects simultaneously, driving brand integration and message consistency across consumer touch points.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Brand Management, Product Communications, Retail Marketing, Legal, direct-to-consumer, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy in communications to keep them informed of Brand Activation-led messaging, such as awards and accolades.
  • Facilitates legal approval process for advertising content, awards and accolades and communicates claims cross functionally.
  • Conducts competitive audits, and monitors competitive advertising activity.
  • Leads monthly internal communications of Brand Activation and PR efforts.
  • Supports team internal reporting preparation, post promotion and QBRs, and other shareouts as needed.
  • Supports the monthly, quarterly and yearly budget and planning processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Anticipated Salary Range: $50,000-$71,000

What You'll Need / Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3 years minimum in advertising, marketing or communications preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel on average once a month to agency meetings, photo/film shoots, etc.
