Multi-Platform Producer - WSB TV

Become a part of one of the best television retail production teams in the country, located in the Atlanta DMA. Our team that works every day to creatively expand possibilities for our advertisers by conceptualizing and offering unique approaches to our client's needs.

Studio 2 is the commercial production team of the WSB-TV Sales department. This team is responsible for the creation of over 300 pieces of creative every year, including short and long form creative, as well as promotional spots, billboards, digital video elements and unique streaming programming.

The creative process includes ideation, scripting, production, post production and delivery on time for air of commercials that make a difference for our clients.

Studio 2 is looking for a full-time multi-platform video producer who can help us make creative and engaging commercials for our advertisers. These commercials will help drive tangible business results.

The role includes management of creative, the production process, executing shoots both on-location and in-studio and some editing (as well as working with post production editors) into fully developed commercial content. These commercials will appear on WSBTV's linear and digital channels and our advertisers social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience writing, producing, shooting, and editing skillset in a creatively competitive environment.

The candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to manage projects within a set timeline and budget.

Candidates should have working level experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and be comfortable with the entire Adobe suite. Candidates should have experience shooting in a cinematic style. Experience with Canon 5D, C300 is a plus.

• Ideate, write, produce, shoot and edit video content for broadcast, social and digital distribution
• Provide on-location and in-studio content productions services
• Gather video, graphic and audio resources for projects from a variety of sources including but not limited to clients, stock libraries and Music libraries
• Collaborate with Account Executives to understand advertiser's market and goals in order to create high-quality content that supports the client's goals
• Consult Studio 2 Management and other producers throughout the production process to maintain budget and timeline
• Work in conjunction with in-house Creative Team to align on branding and graphics
• Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment to deliver projects

• The candidate should have advanced skills in producing with a clear understanding and history of delivering on client needs
• 5+ years producing
• Ability to manage a project from beginning to end working with creative teams including: scripting, storyboard, budget, set and keep deadlines and develop optimal forms of media for projects
• Proven experience with shooting, lighting and audio
• 5+ years experience creating advertising/retail related media for broadcast or digital distribution
• 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
• Strong storytelling skills
• Knowledge of and experience shooting with cinema style cameras is a plus
• Candidate should have working knowledge of prime lenses for DSLR cameras
• Edit video projects, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, media management, and archiving project media
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and learning through experimentation
• Experience with social media is a plus
• Well-rounded production skills; ideal candidates can work in a fast-paced environment, turn around edits quickly and efficiently, and prioritize and multi-task as needed
