What this job involves: Join JLL as a Maintenance Mechanic where you'll play a vital role in maintaining optimal facility operations through comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system support. This hands-on position involves working alongside MES Mobile Engineers while independently performing essential maintenance tasks that ensure client satisfaction and seamless building operations. You'll be responsible for both preventive maintenance and responsive repair work across interior and exterior property areas, from lighting and HVAC systems to office furniture and structural components. This role directly contributes to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services by maintaining high operational standards, ensuring client occupancy satisfaction, and supporting the overall functionality of assigned properties through proactive maintenance and swift problem resolution. What your day-to-day will look like: * Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and installed systems * Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations * Execute general interior maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture, and door maintenance * Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts, and assist operations team with equipment repairs * Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested while maintaining safety protocols * Complete hazard assessments, comply with safety procedures, and maintain compliance with State, County, and City codes * Update work order status in real-time using CMMS systems like 360 Facility and submit daily P-card receipts Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent education * Minimum 1-3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work * Valid state driver's license with ability to maintain driving privileges * Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work from heights up to 30 feet with 300 lb weight limit * Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills for client interaction * Ability to work in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures and confined spaces * Licenses as required by local authority having jurisdiction Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with CMMS systems, particularly 360 Facility or similar work order management platforms * Third-party certifications in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC maintenance * Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or facility management environments * Knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures * Experience working independently while supporting team-based maintenance operations Location: On-site -Murrysville, PAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
