What to Expect
As the Product Manager for Vehicle and Order Matching, you'll own the systems responsible for routing vehicles to locations, assigning them to customers, and estimating delivery timing. This platform is critical to Tesla's ability to scale - connecting sales, delivery, demand planning, logistics, engineering, and design to ensure every car reaches the right customer at the right time. You'll combine automation, self-serve tools, and AI-powered intelligence to streamline operations, accelerate delivery speed, and create a frictionless customer journey. This is a high-impact role where precision, speed, and innovation directly translate into faster deliveries, higher efficiency, and greater customer trust.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for optimizing the vehicle and order matching across global markets
- Design and deliver scalable, innovative solutions that simplify complex workflows through automation, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), and self-serve enterprise tools
- Transform operational challenges into product features that empower internal teams and elevate the end-to-end customer experience
- Write clear product requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and partner with engineering and design to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions at speed
- Leverage data, experimentation, and feedback to measure impact and continuously refine the platform for speed, accuracy, and conversion
- Collaborate across functions and regions to adapt workflows to diverse market needs while maintaining simplicity, scalability, and consistency
What You'll Bring
- Product management experience building internal enterprise tools that drive measurable impact on customer outcomes, ideally in allocation / optimization systems, supply chain, or automotive environments
- Strong background in user experience design with a track record of simplifying and scaling complex systems for internal users and customer-facing impact

Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
