The Maintenance Supervisor oversees, schedules, and coordinates daily activities of the Maintenance Technicians along with crews and contractors. The Maintenance Supervisor possesses knowledge of maintenance and general oilfield construction. The position requires the monitoring and reviewing of daily maintenance reports for the objective of providing effective oversight to field maintenance activities. This position is also responsible for frequent feedback sessions with direct reports and to ensure timely, appropriate documentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

  • Accountable for the recognition, performance, and development of the Maintenance Team.
  • Manages the allocation of maintenance resources to achieve business goals, priorities, & KPI's.
  • Advanced understanding of oilfield terminology, equipment, operations, and construction.
  • Manages the safe execution of planned maintenance outages.
  • Plans, documents, and trains the team on area specific Maintenance KPIs and the impact of the KPIs on the overall Maintenance KPIs.
  • Provides coaching and training for Maintenance team members as needed.
  • Supports Maintenance safety programs, initiatives, audits, incident investigations, and the quality and efficiency of Maintenance operations.
  • Facilitation of daily and weekly work planning and scheduling of meetings and personnel with Maintenance, Operations, and other supporting departments.
  • Edits, stores, and organizes department applicable data in E-Maintenance and other systems.
  • Reconcile Maintenance vs. Accounting invoice issues as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of oil and gas experience
  • 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience
  • 1 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to meet and maintain the clean driving insurability standard requirements to drive a company vehicle, which means a driving record that is clear of any of serious traffic violations within the past three (3) years (other driving record requirements may also apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer skills and to learn company-specific applications
  • Experience in all phases of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of general oilfield equipment (pump and compressor experience a plus)
