HR Talent Internship

This internship opportunity with Arcwood Environmental is a 12-week program. The HR Talent Team Intern will work directly with the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams to support the execution of Arcwood's talent strategy. This internship provides meaningful, real-world experience focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent in a rapidly growing company.

You'll gain exposure to recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, leadership programs, and employee engagement initiatives - and contribute to projects that make a measurable impact on our people and our business.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

Talent Acquisition



  • Support candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination for key roles.
  • Assist with employer branding and recruitment marketing content.
  • Participate in onboarding activities and new hire communications.
  • Help track recruiting metrics and contribute to process improvement initiatives.


Talent Development



  • Assist in the design and delivery of employee development and leadership training.
  • Support logistics for learning programs, workshops, and engagement events.
  • Help manage learning content, materials, and participation data.
  • Contribute to projects related to career development, early career programs, and mentorship.


Cross-Functional Projects



  • Collaborate with the broader HR and Talent teams to support performance, engagement, and talent review activities.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to support strategic talent initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings and gain insight into HR systems, tools, and processes.

Education:



  • Candidate must be a full-time enrolled college student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, organizational development ,or related business field (required)


Competencies:



  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 out of 12 weeks.
