Reporting to the head of Strategy & Planning, this leadership role will set the vision and direction for efforts across all communications functions - driving insights, innovation, and measuring business impact at scale.
Your Impact You will lead an agile, modern, AI-enabled approach to insights and measurement. You will build frameworks and innovations to help measure impact across the organization, ensuring actionable, predictive intelligence to guide strategy with clear and consistent data. Your leadership will nurture a high-performance team, continuously advancing technical capabilities while directly influencing organizational decision-making and transformation.
Strategy & Implementation: you will architect and evolve measurement frameworks from multiple data sources to track the impact of communications strategies, including sentiment analysis, narrative resonance, and engagement across global audiences Executive-Level Reporting & Insights: you will deliver polished, predictive dashboards and insights that translate sophisticated data into compelling exec narratives (tailored to senior and executive leadership), with a focus on business transformation. Engagement & Partnership: serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and regional and functional teams, providing data-driven counsel that aligns with strategic objectives. Partner across, marketing, analytics, and business units, ensuring cohesive enterprise-wide intelligence strategies. Innovation & Technical Mastery: lead all aspects of the automation and AI-enablement of data collection, modeling, and reporting for speed, scalability, and precision - while staying at the forefront of analytics, AI, and comms-tech trends and embedding emerging capabilities into the organization's intelligence strategy. Team Leadership & Development: lead, mentor and inspire a team of communications intelligence professionals, encouraging a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Data Analytics/Science, or related field 8+ years of dynamic experience in analytics, intelligence, or data science 3 + years in a leadership role within a communications or related setting Experience with analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Cision, Sprinklr) along with practical expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation and AI/ML integration Experience with leading large-scale data integration initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Validated expertise in developing sophisticated metrics strategies, applying machine learning, and using predictive models to answer sophisticated business questions Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of delivering actionable insights to senior leadership Demonstrated ability to craft compelling, executive-ready insights and recommendations, with mastery of storytelling through data visualization and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) Ability to connect intelligence initiatives to enterprise goals, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $196,000.00 to $247,000.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $174,000.00 - $252,100.00
