Description TEKsystems is seeking a Critical Environment Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and UPS systems across mission-critical facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, and a passion for maintaining high-performance environments. Key Responsibilities: System Operations & Monitoring: * Operate and maintain BAS, EPMS, and UPS platforms * Monitor system alarms and telemetry to ensure safe, efficient operations * Conduct trend analysis and generate reports to identify and resolve equipment issues * Perform inspections and validations across electrical, mechanical, and control systems Technical Expertise: * Navigate BAS and EPMS platforms to verify equipment status and execute approved procedures * Apply ION programmability and analytics in PME to enhance system insights * Understand interactions between central controllers and distributed devices Compliance & Documentation: * Ensure all operations meet safety and regulatory standards * Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and performance metrics Top Skills Needed: Electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments BAS and EPMS operations Power panel and UPS systems OSHA or NFPA 70E certification Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in critical environment operations or facilities management * Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers or industrial settings * Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics * Familiarity with the National Electrical Code * High school diploma or equivalent required * Must be able to work flexible schedules, including rotating or 12-hour shifts * OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E certification required Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lithia Springs, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
