About the Role As a user experience/user interface (UX/UI) designer in the Technology Procurement and Implementation Services (TPIS) practice area, you will collaborate with team members to design and build user-centered digital products that improve experience for clients and the communities they serve. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into intuitive, accessible and engaging interfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career professional who's eager to learn, grow, and apply both creative and technical skills in a mission-driven environment. Serving as a UX/UI designer, your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include participating in client meetings and working closely with and in collaboration with the business analysis team in designing various levels of wireframes to support eliciting to-be requirements for system modernization or website design efforts for clients. The target base salary for this position is $73,476.00 to $95,518.00 per year. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including skill set, experience, location, and job-related qualifications.
