Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Generate catering revenue through proactive sales efforts, networking, and relationship building.



  • Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and finalize banquet event orders (BEOs).



  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and menu presentations to secure event business.



  • Coordinate details of meetings and events including menu selections, room setup, audiovisual needs, timelines, and billing.



  • Prepare accurate and timely BEOs and communicate event needs with internal departments.



  • Ensure smooth event execution by serving as on-site contact for clients and banquet team.



  • Resolve issues or concerns promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.



  • Maintain detailed records, client files, and accurate forecasting in Delphi or designated sales system.



  • Collaborate with the banquet, sales, and culinary teams to ensure quality and efficiency.



  • Assist with upselling enhancements and packages to maximize profitability.



  • Follow company policies, brand standards, and health/safety guidelines.



  • Participate in weekly meeting reviews (BEO meeting, Sales meeting, Manager meeting).



  • Support servicing group blocks, rooming lists, VIPs, and traces as needed.



  • Assist with creation of banquet floorplans and diagrams (e.g., Social Tables, AllSeated).



  • Monitor billing accuracy and assist with final invoicing.




Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.



  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.



  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.



  • Strong sales negotiation, presentation, and customer-service abilities.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi/FDC preferred.



  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
