Position Overview




Essential Job Duties

  • Conduct research related to motor control/learning, biomechanics and adaptation in human participants.
  • Develop corresponding novel control strategies and support grant application.
  • Develop control systems and rehabilitation devices.
  • Disseminate results through publication and reports.
  • Seek funding support for research.
  • Support other lab activities, such as recruitment and outreach.
  • Mentor graduate students and undergraduates

Requirements and Preferences






Work Schedule Mon-Fri 8 - 5 or as required by supervisor
Department Required Skills
Five years of experience in biomedical engineering and related fields
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Experience with conducting research on patient populations
Experience with working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary research teams
Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW etc.)
Required License or Certification
N/A
Valid NC Driver's License required? No
