Job Summary:
The Health & Well-Being Institute Administrative Manager serves a vital role in advancing the Health & Well-Being Institute's mission. Principal duties include project management, and administrative support to outreach program initiatives in the areas of finance, human resources, and operations. The Administrative Manager will work closely with Institute leadership, faculty, and staff to develop and monitor budgets, support the growth and tracking of extramural funding, program revenue, and expenditures, and facilitate subaward and vendor engagement. This role includes supervisory responsibilities for at least one full-time staff member and multiple student hourly employees. The position functions in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, respectful office with day-to-day variety. It will work to create and improve systems to increase efficiency and function, collaborate with a wide range of individuals, and be an excellent communicator. Partial Remote
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Remote work requires an approved remote work agreement (RWA). A RWA requires successful candidates to possess their own high-speed internet and phone to perform the work on a university provided computer. Per University policy, transportation between home and assigned work location is not payable/reimbursable and will be at the expense of the employee. This position has the possibility of working up to 3 days remote per Extension's Remote Work Policy. Travel Expectations
It is expected that employees will make individual arrangements for transportation adequate to meet position responsibilities and essential job functions. The Health & Well-Being Institute supports healthier lives by working with and for the people, communities and Tribal nations of Wisconsin to build relationships, facilitate learning and pursue data informed and culturally based strategies. (https://health.extension.wisc.edu/) The minimum annual (12 months) starting salary for the position is $70,000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
