Position Summary:

The Career Navigator (Flex/Non-AD) provides services for students in our Financial Industry Training, including individual career counseling and coaching, job placement, retention. This role will also provide employment readiness training, case management, documentation of student progress, and work with the team on recruitment and student enrollment. This role will work with internal and external stakeholders including employers in the financial services industry to ensure that positive relationships are maintained resulting in optimal employment outcomes for individuals served.

Day in the life: In a typical day, the Career Navigator...



  • Career Navigation Services: Provide job placement assistance and career counseling resulting in optimal employment outcomes for individuals served.
  • Case Management Coordination: Ensure that seamless and comprehensive services are delivered to the individual providing coordinated service options and resources to meet their needs resulting in positive outcomes for individuals served. Serve as the main contact and coordinator for the individual and other involved partners, persons or agencies.
  • Documentation: Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation of individuals served by following established applicable procedures, guidelines, funder requirements, and laws. Organize and report essential caseload information on a regular basis to support program and organizational goals.



Job Pay & Perks:



  • Pay range: $22.26-$30.00hr
  • This is a Flexible-hybrid role whose essential functions allow the employee to primarily work from a personal home office but also require the employee to work at a physical GESMN or partner facility as business needs require, sometimes with great urgency and little notice.

*Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office

Prior Experience & Education:

*Relevant Experience required (1-3 years)
*Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
