Job Responsibilities 
    Administer and monitor contract performance on government contractsMay assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and proceduresResponsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments/modifications and incorporating changesReview contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditionsRespond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisionsRespond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisionsConduct fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collectionsPrepare proposals for customer requirementsPrepare and analyze moderately complex price proposalsParticipate in TINA implementation/sweepsNegotiate standard terms and conditionsMonitor contract performance and cost controls and ensures compliance with contract termsPrepare teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and domestic and international consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreementsUnder direction, prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation packageParticipate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviewsSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend DRS' mission, values and cultureMaintain effective internal and external customer relationsMay prepare of export license applicationsMay provide subcontract negotiation and managementPerform special projects as requestedQualifications 
    Bachelor's degree in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years related experience.Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)Strong understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurementsComprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper useStrong knowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelinesDetailed knowledge of source selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysisStrong knowledge of requirements for and experienced in administration of government propertyDetailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retentionDetailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs teaming and other forms of agreementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsContract/agreement briefing, negotiation and review experienceExperience in monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and valueMembership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and CPCM certification desiredGeneral computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programsAI application experience to improve existing processes ir preferred. U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
