Job Description

The Director, Risk Solution Services helps Visa clients manage fraud by analyzing data for emerging trends, developing strategies to mitigate risk, and collaborating with clients to implement these strategies using Visa and industry tools. This includes analyzing order data to identify emerging fraud trends, developing, and implementing strategies to mitigate these trends, and closely collaborating with clients to enable the adoption of Visa and industry products. The successful candidate will operate as a strategic advisor, leveraging deep data analysis, GenAI, machine learning, and consultative expertise to drive client business outcomes and support Visa's objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Communication and Presentation: Deliver clear, concise, and impactful messages to a variety of audiences, sharing best practices and fostering an environment of knowledge exchange.
  • Consulting Expertise: Build and maintain strategic client relationships, advocating for client needs and representing their interests for product and process enhancements.
  • Solutions Delivery: Drive the adoption of Risk Solution Services (RSS) through the delivery of automation, GenAI, machine learning, and portfolio updates, ensuring high client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Analysis, Data, and Reporting: Conduct complex data mining and statistical analysis on large, diverse data sets to uncover trends, derive actionable insights, and develop predictive models. Work on enterprise-wide projects and programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance reporting, align KPIs with business objectives, and improve payment risk outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current on payment industry trends and the global competitive landscape, proactively educating clients and adapting solutions based on evolving risks and opportunities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 173,100.00 to 250,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
