     | Posting Summary | Outstanding applicants are desired for a Part-Time Lecturer (
       PTL) teaching position in Cognitive Skills for master's students in the biomedical sciences for the Fall and Spring semesters. The successful candidate(s) will perform the following services: individual consultations on learning, time management, and academic performance; diagnostic evaluations of study practices and their effectiveness; structured interventions to enhance learning productivity and efficiency; personalized preparation programs for courses; provide timely student feedback; respond to students' emails and meet during assigned office hours. The successful candidate(s) must have 15+ years of work-related experience in the educational field within academia and recent experience in teaching cognitive skills to biomedical trainees. Candidates should have extensive training in the education field, holding a masters degree in Education and completing extensive coursework towards a Ph.D. in Education. Successful candidates must have experience in providing cognitive skill training by meeting individually with students, running appropriate workshops for students, faculty, and administrators, and publishing scholarly articles and abstracts is a requirement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite. Prior teaching experience or evidence of teaching effectiveness is required. |
